The 3* lock range is the highest security rating achievable in the UK and ensures that all the usual traditional burglary methods aren't possible to gain entry. But better yet, these locks are also a clear deterrent to even attempt entry, due to their fierce look and 3* standards on the front this is usually enough to deter a would be burglar.

The 3* cylinders are designed to withstand the pressure of the usual burglary methods. Entry through snapping the lock is the most common in the UK, this is not possible with the APECS cylinder and will ensure no access is gained using this method. Another popular method is drilling, with anti drill protection as standard this lock is designed to make drilling as difficult as possible.
